About Navgic

Our mission

Navgic exists to make campus navigation effortless. Whether you're a first-year student finding your way to class or a visitor exploring a sprawling university, Navgic puts interactive maps, walking directions, and live transit tracking in your pocket — all for free.

Supported universities

Navgic currently supports Rutgers University, New York University (NYU), Stony Brook University, Binghamton University, and Kent State University (PARTA). Each campus has its own tailored map data, building directory, and transit feeds. We're actively working to expand to more campuses.

How we build Navgic

Navgic is built with React Native and Expo for iOS and Android, backed by a shared codebase that makes it easy to add new campuses. Our maps use official campus geospatial data, and transit tracking connects to real-time data feeds where available. We prioritize privacy — Navgic does not require an account, and we collect only the minimal analytics needed to improve the app.
