Frequently asked questions

Getting started

Is Navgic free?
Yes. Navgic is completely free to download and use on iOS, Android, and the web.
How do I download Navgic?
Install Navgic from the iOS TestFlight invite or the Android Play internal testing track linked on this site, or open the live web tracker in any modern browser—no account required.
Do I need an account to use Navgic?
No. Navgic does not require an account. Open the app or web tracker, pick your university, and start navigating.
Does Navgic work offline?
Campus maps and building data are cached on your device for basic navigation. Real-time transit and Veo vehicle location features require an internet connection.

Campuses and features

Which universities does Navgic support?
Navgic currently supports Rutgers University, New York University (NYU), Stony Brook University, Binghamton University, Kent State University (PARTA), and the University of Georgia (UGA), with more campuses coming soon.
Can I search for buildings and places?
Yes. Use Explore or search in Navgic to find campus buildings and facilities by name, then open walking directions from your location.
Where can I learn how to use Navgic on my campus?
See the campus guides on the homepage and blog—including getting started, Rutgers, NYU, Stony Brook, bus tracking, and Veo rides on supported campuses.

Transit and Veo

How do I track campus buses?
Open Navgic, select your university, and use the map or transit tools to see live vehicle locations and stop arrivals where data is available. Each campus also has a dedicated bus tracker page on this site.
Does Navgic show Veo scooters and bikes?
On supported campuses — currently Rutgers University (New Brunswick), Rutgers University (Newark), and Kent State University (PARTA) — Navgic displays live locations for nearby Veo ride and micromobility vehicles on the campus map. Unlock and pay for rides in the official Veo app; Navgic helps you find what's available nearby.
Can I unlock or pay for Veo rides inside Navgic?
No. Navgic shows Veo vehicle locations only. Unlock, pay, and ride through the official Veo app. Rentals, pricing, and ride rules are managed by Veo, not Navgic.

Privacy and accounts

Does Navgic collect personal data?
Navgic prioritizes privacy and does not require an account. We collect only the minimal analytics needed to improve the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I contact Navgic for help?
Email support from this Support page with your campus, device, and a short description of the issue. For legal inquiries, review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
