Getting Started with Navgic: Step-by-Step Guide
Navgic helps you navigate supported university campuses with maps, transit tools, and place search. You can use it in the browser at live.navgic.com or install the free app for iOS and Android.
This guide walks through the live web tracker so you know what to expect before your first day on campus.
Step 1: Open the Map tab
After Navgic loads your campus, the Map tab shows buildings, stops, and live shuttle markers.

Pick your school when prompted (Rutgers, NYU, Stony Brook, Binghamton, or Kent State). Navgic remembers your choice for next time.
Step 2: Browse the Explore tab
Explore surfaces events, dining, businesses, and facilities around campus. Use category chips to filter results.

Step 3: Use Navgic on desktop
The same experience works on a laptop between classes. Open live.navgic.com in any modern browser.

Step 4: Watch live buses on the map
Where real-time data is available, chevron markers show shuttle positions. Tap a stop for arrivals and route details.
