Introducing Navgic: Campus Navigation Made Simple
Getting around a large university campus shouldn't be stressful. Whether you're a first-year student trying to find your 8 AM lecture hall or a visitor navigating an unfamiliar campus, the experience of being lost on campus is universal — and avoidable.
That's why we built Navgic.
What is Navgic?
Navgic is a free mobile app for iOS and Android that combines interactive campus maps, turn-by-turn walking directions, and real-time shuttle tracking into a single, fast interface. No account required — just open the app, select your university, and start navigating.
Which campuses does Navgic support?
Navgic currently supports three universities:
- Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ) — covering all five campuses with real-time bus tracking
- New York University (New York, NY) — mapping buildings across Manhattan and Brooklyn
- Stony Brook University (Stony Brook, NY) — with full campus maps and shuttle information
We're actively working on adding more campuses. If your university isn't listed yet, stay tuned.
Key features
- Interactive campus maps with every building, bus stop, and key location
- Walking directions designed for campus paths, not just roads
- Real-time shuttle tracking with arrival predictions where live data is available
- Building search to find any location on campus instantly
